Fake friends

Young people who think high school friends are fake, wait until you meet a race called “coworkers“.

I saw this post on a social network and it made me think:

Is it all that, or is it the person who can no longer stand the environment in which he works and ends up transferring his discontent to the attitudes of his colleagues?

I know people are complicated and difficult to deal with, but the way the sentence was constructed, the impression it gives is that this happens to ALL co-workers.

By the way: Has the author ever stopped to think that he/she is someone’s co-worker?
